とても興味深い文章で何度読み返しても飽きる事のない文章でした。写真を眺めながら、もう一度読み返してみようと思います。

翻訳をお手伝いさせて頂いた野村佐紀子さんの写真集「夜間飛行」と石川直樹さんの写真集「Mt.Fuji」が発売されています。写真集に入る文章は短いものが多いのですが、それだけに内容が凝縮され興味深いものになっています。写真の鑑賞と共にテキストも深く味わって頂ければと思います。

幻冬舍よりついに出版されたHari。既存の枠を超えてタトゥーをさらなるレベルへと昇華させたアーティスト、Jun Matsuiの作品集です。翻訳を担当させて頂きました。これを読まずに現代のタトゥーは語れないでしょう。

Hari“, published by Gentosha Inc., is now available. This bilingual book is a collection of tattooist Jun Matsui’s designs from body art to clothes and graphics. The edition explores the inspiration behind the designs and provides analysis and insight into the world behind the taboo and mystery of contemporary tattoo culture. ONE TO NINE did the translation for the project.

リトルモアから注目の写真家、本城直季さんの写真集「 small planet」が発売されました。翻訳で参加させて頂いてます。ミニチュアやジオラマにしか見えない風景写真、ページをめくるたびに不思議な感覚に包まれます。

Up-and-coming photographer, Naoki Honjo’s photo book, Small planet has just been published by Little More. Honjo’s landscape pictures have a surreal quality about them often looking more like images of fake miniature models rather than than the real thing. Flipping through the pages rockets the reader into a weird and strangely calm environment. Translation is by ONE TO NINE.
